PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN is a churchwide organization whose membership is open to all women. PW members are those who choose to participate in or be supportive of Presbyterian Women in any way. PW intentionally seeks the membership of women from all racial/ethnic grouups so that the organization may reflect a vision of the whole church as a community of mutual interdependence in which diversity contributes to wholeness. PW gives strong support to the mission of the denomination and determines its leadership, program and budget.
The Presbyterian Women of Spring Hill Presbyterian Church is part of the larger body. Spring Hill Presbyterian Women, forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, commit themselves:
to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study;
to support the mission of the church worldwide;
to work for justice and peace; and
to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witness to the promise of God's Kingdom.
Presbyterian Women conduct Bible Study, engage in church and community projects, and contribute to such offerings as the Birthday Offering, Thank Offering, and Fellowship of the Least Coin. Smaller Circles encourage a unique Christian fellowship and better meet the needs of those involved. At Spring Hill Presbyterian four Circles meet at various times with each having a special project and a common Bible study.
Our Bible study this year is "Journeys Through Revelation: Apocalytic Hope for Today." For our meeting times, check the calendar on this website. For more information on each Circle, click the appropriate button below.
